Shelley Bi, CPA/MBA
Shelley Bi has an M.B.A from UCLA Anderson with a Finance and business law concentration. She is the firm manager with over ten years of public accounting experience. She has extensive experience in audit, accounting, and taxation of corporations, flow-through entities, closely held businesses, estate, trusts & high net worth individuals and problem resolution with federal, state and local taxing authorities. Her expertise also includes business valuation and business consulting services.
Shelley’s diverse background and knowledge make her genuinely interested in people and passionate about giving back to the community. In 2009, she served as the lead panel judge for Project ECHO 5th Annual LAUSD high school business plan competition. Shelley is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of California, a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts, a member of association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
She is a member of Northridge Chapter of Business Network International (BNI), League of Women Voters and Step Up Women’s Network.
Shelley studied linguistics as a graduate student in University of Science and Technology in China and holds a bachelor of art degree in Linguistics/education.
Alan Fine, CPA
Alan has been associated with Dennis F. Rose & Associates since 1994. Born and educated in the UK, he has been involved in public accounting for over 50 years, specializing in taxation, tax and business planning and business management.
His experience covers working with small and medium-sized businesses, high-income individuals, including business executives, doctors and other professionals, non-profit organizations and overseas corporations, and representing clients before taxing authorities.
Alan is a lifetime member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (UK).
He is a member of the British-American business Council of Los Angeles and serves on the executive board of the Bel Air-Beverly Crest Neighborhood Council and the Benedict Canyon Association.
Rosabel Patalinghug
One of six children Rosabel was born in Cebu City, Philippines. Rosabel graduated from college at the University of San Carlos with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. In May of 2001 she joined Dennis F. Rose and Associates. Rosabel works as a bookkeeper and handles all the business management clients, processes payroll, prepares quarterly payroll and sales tax returns and assists with tax return preparation.
She likes to travel and her biggest weakness is shopping (hunting for bargains). She cannot live without T.V. and music.
Jon Van Blaricom
Jon has been working with the firm since January of 2000.
He performs a variety of administrative, IT and bookkeeping duties. He is studying to get a degree in accounting.
Jon is a musician in his spare time.
Tammy Dunsworth
Tammy is Dennis Rose's personal assistant and a licensed investment assistant. She was born in Tillamook, Oregon and moved to California at a young age. She attended Carpinteria High School and attended Santa Barbara City College.
She has worked for Dennis and/or his predecessor for over 10 years and has worked for accounting and financial services companies for over 30 years.
In her free time she enjoys reading and loves animals.
Beth Rebamontan
Beth joined Dennis F. Rose and Associates in February 2008 as an administrative assistant. She is currently working on her business degree at California State University, Northridge. Native to Southern California Beth is a huge Los Angeles Lakers fan.
Outside of work, Beth enjoys traveling, trying new and exotic foods, and outdoor activities such as hiking or running with her dog, Milo.

Cher is a senior member of the firm having joined in 1989 and bringing with her an extensive portfolio of management accounting and tax experience in private industry and public accounting.
Cher has served as tax manager since 1997 providing tax, accounting and management advisory services to our clients.
Michael Resnik, C.T.E.C. / Financial Planner
Michael is first generation American in his family, which immigrated to the United States in 1960’s from Argentina. He resides in Northridge with his wife-Victoria and son-Elan. He has been associated with Dennis F. Rose & Associates since October 2006. Graduate of Cal. State Northridge with an emphasis in finance. His experience covers work with individuals, families and sole-proprietors. He has 15 years experience in the financial planning industry working for top investment firms and banks.
He is a founding chapter member for the Sherman Oaks Chapter of Business Networking International (BNI). He is a 7 year- member of “The Executives”, which is a social organization with a philanthropic goal to help The Jewish Home of the Aging. He has a passion for the game of golf, basketball & football, and loves to cook and prepare meals for friends and family.
